RESIN REPLICA - M2 BROWNING 50 CAL MACHINE GUN
OUT of stock
The M2 Browning 50 CAL Machine Gun was designed during World War I by John Browning. The M2 has been referred to as "Ma Deuce", or "the fifty," in reference to its caliber, which is .50 BMG (a caliber which was designed alongside the machine gun itself, and was named to match - "B.M.G." stands for Browning Machine Gun). The M2 has had the longest continuous service use for a machine gun in the world; used extensively as a vehicle weapon and for aircraft armament by the U.S. from 1920 to the present. It is still the first choice heavy machine gun of NATO countries. The M2 has been in use longer than any other small arm in U.S. inventory except the M1911 pistol, also designed by John Browning. This weapon can be famously seen in movies such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Full Metal Jacket, The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951 & 2008) and countless others.
