This is a Replica of the MK2 or pineapple hand grenade.
First used by the U.S. armed forces in World War II, this Mk2 fragmentation hand grenade is known as the "pineapple" grenade due to its distinctive shape. The Mk2 continued to be used in service until it was phased out sometime after the Vietnam War.
